Optimizing Lipid-Based Formulation for
Commercial Success
Now Available On-Demand
Join this live 90-minute virtual workshop to hear experts present on the fundamental principles, strategies, and advantages of lipid-based drug delivery for enabling commercial success. Presentations from BASF and Catalent will demonstrate on how lipid-based drug softgel technology can provide formulators with an effective delivery platform in the development and scale-up of commercial products.

Catalent & BASF experts will review case studies to illustrate how lipid-based drug delivery technologies have been used to overcome challenges such as absorption, food effects, and to accelerate scale-up.

Key takeaways from this workshop include:

  • Reasons to consider Lipid Based Drug Delivery Systems
  • An introduction to Self-emulsifying Drug Delivery System (SEDDS)
  • Key scalability advantages for LBDDS
Agenda:

  • Fundamentals of LBDDS – Dr. Patrick Tso
  • Self-emulsifying Drug Delivery System (SEDDS) as an effective formulation technology, Frank Romanski, BASF
  • Overview of Softgel – Scalability & Case Studies - David Fulper, Derek Bush
  • *LIVE *Q&A Session
